Maddie is one month old

It's hard to believe that Maddie is already a month old. It's gone by so quickly. Her personality is really starting to come out. She is quite playful. Last week we started to see some full face, open mouth, sparkling eyes smiles. This week we're beginning to be able to bring them on. I'll try to get a picture. Hopefully we can capture the sparkle in her eyes. It brought tears to ours last night! We are having such a wonderful time. Maddie is a blessing.

Here are some random pics from this week. We thought it was cute the way her hands were spread out during her nap in the one picture. The other is from some of her tummy time. She seems to have better control of her neck when we're holding her and she pulls back to look at our faces than when she is lying down. But she does get a kick out of the octopus. She also likes the mirror. I try to swap the "toys" to keep her interest. She can get quite bored and frustrated quickly. But she hardly fusses, just kicks and pants (you know the one kids use when they can't communicate what they want and you aren't psychically able to sort it out fast enough).
