So as many of you know, Moriah studied in Russia in 1995. While the class was on a field trip to a local monastery and other sites, they came across a wedding party having photographs taken. And toasting vodka, of course. According to David Samuelovich, it was the custom of a wedding party to visit popular sites on their wedding day for toasts and pics. Nancy and Moriah thought this was brilliant and filed it away for "one day." This is Bill and Moriah's version of this tradition in downtown Lynchburg, with a distinct Moriah twist.

Now that we've moved to Virginia and started our family, this site takes on a renewed purpose as a place to share photos and happenings with friends and family across the country.
