These are the Canyonlands of Utah. Prior to this, we visited Arches National Park and did some excellent mountain biking on the Moab area's slickrock. Lots of fun! And no tree limbs to dodge.
From there we drove over to Bryce Canyon. To the right is one of the views along the way. Can you believe this is Utah? We really fell in love with the scenery of this state.
Bryce Canyon. This was one of my favorites from our 1997 family trip. It's still at the top of my list of National Parks. And just outside is Casto Canyon where we had another awesome mountain bike ride.

This is the spine of Angel's Landing. Craziness. But I'd probably do it again.
Mesa Verde National Park, CO
And we watched fireworks in Silverton, CO. This area is another "must return." The San Juan Mountains give the Rockies a run for the money.
