Maybe it's time

I haven't kept a journal or diary in years. I can't remember the last time I sent a handwritten letter or photographs to friends or family. But I'm always connected to my computer. So I think it's time to create my online journal. I seem to always have many irons in the fire and it's difficult to keep everyone abreast of the many changes in my life, so here goes. I'm not an intellectual, so you probably won't find any well-written social commentaries here. I do, however, have many strong opinions. And some of them are pretty off-beat & folks seem to find them interesting. Since they're mine and I live with them every day, I don't think they're all that novel. But I can step outside myself and see how they might be. And I can appreciate those differences in others as well.

Most likely, I'm going to fill this spot with photographs of my house, my pets and my vacations. I'm a doer more than a thinker. I like power tools. I like to fix things. I love antiques, rich color and interesting fabrics. I've always got my passport handy. And I'm open to new things, new people, new experiences and new places. Life is good. All the time. And this is how I'm living it.
